Wednesday 29 October 2008 - :

Just a quick update on the 11th Asia karate tournament held last sat.
The 2-8 event was tiring, never knew it could be so tiring watching ppl fight. haha.
Shihan Peter Chong, head of kyokushin karate in Singapore broke 8 blocks of ice during intermission! wohooo super cool :D sadly the video's not on youtube but with my friend so i shall post it sometime in the near future.
The competitors were quite good but surprisingly Singapore won! :D
haha. quite unbelieveable. But it was the gurkas who represented Singapore, so tentatively we didn't really win coz the two Singaporean fighters were out in the second round. Oh well.

Friday 17 October 2008 - :

MONDAY
Return of LA script and Physics.
I was generally happy with the marks I got for physics coz I PASSED! WHEE.
But LA was quite disappointing. :(
Somehow I feel that I haven't been working very hard this year and it has passed in a blur of fun and games and lousy grades. oh well! I'm gonna try harder next year! Yep. NO MORE playing NOVIA! haha. but luckily no repaper this year! :D
This was one of the few days I went back home after school! haha. after exams.
Sprained ankle= not being able to go out or play bball :(
Tuesday
Return of Physics and Maths scripts.
Sorely disappointed with my performance on Maths.
Maths standard seems to be drastically dropping, gonna do something about that during this holiday hopefully... Got a chewing out from parents. >.<
Went out after school with DHS FRIENDS, despite my ankle.
Super long since I've met Jovina,JH, Rach and chengling coz their papers just ended that day. Bought movie tickets to house bunny and almost lost my wallet. PHEW! quite a scare that was. The movie theatre was quite empty but there was a row of probably sec 1 DHS guys in front, GUYS watching house bunny? chi ko peis. haha! Slapstick comedy and brainless... -.- well, at least it was funny.
Rach went to cut her hair at a salon at marina square, and we played the iPhone games while waiting for her. JH look damn spastic playing the driving game! :D

Wednesday
Return of IH scripts.
Generally ok with geog paper, though lit was once again disappointing. Guess I'm not cut out to write essays.
Was originally supposed to meet sammy after school but since she had classes at night we decided to meet up the next day!
Went home with Charissa and on the spur of the moment decided to go airport to eat.
Popeyes rocks! After battling with the chicken which of course we won, we went walking around airport. On the way to the bus interchange, we managed to digress and found ourselves colouring. No idea what that colouring thing is called but we made loads of nice drawings or whatever u called what we coloured.




Then we went to the playground, where we saw this super cute boy! His name's phil and he's about 3 years old! haha. He's from Jarkata and we took a photo with him but that was with his dad's camera :(
Thursday
Had a workshop on using Dreamweaver the whole day.
Wasn't that bad, turned out to be quite fun.
I invented a new game! :D IT's called banged your head.
3 simple steps to play this game

1. Open wordpad
2. Remove specs if u wear
3. Bang your head against the keyboard and see how many letters u can type.

Its super fun. Try it now! HIGHSCORE: Fiona, 11 letters followed by ME! but I got 5letters only.
Bernice still couldn't believe that I managed to get 13 ppl which was about half the class to play the game in the com lab! haha! :D
Lessons ended quite late on Thursday coz the quiz thing went OT and lit papers were also returned.
Met Sammy after school at Downtown East! Had subway for dinner and as always squabbling and teasing each other! :D Decided it was too late to watch a movie so we went back to white sands to catch up on the stuff that happened the past few weeks. It was really great meeting her again, missed her loads! haha.
Friday
Had a school trip out of school for the Biennale exhibits.
The contemporary artpieces were really cool!

Friday 10 October 2008 - :

BORED.
Getting a sprained ankle is exactly what everyone would wish for right after exams! yep.
Limping around now, not hopping (already evolved to a more advanced way of walking) is not exactly what I would call fun plus the endless merciless teasing from my MUM and my SISTER is super annoying.
My ankle's still swollen despite eating the reduce swelling pills (I think that the counter girl managed to mix up medicines and gave me the increase swelling one instead), and I'm going back to see the chinese doctor again. today.

I WAS supposed to go for level 2 today, emphasis on WAS.
I WAS also supposed to go for karate yesterday, again the emphasis on WAS.
Anyways, i finally went back to school yesterday and managed to avoid climbing the 3 storeys of stairs up to class in the morning.
They should seriously build a lift in the school.
Well, one thing that I'm glad of is that I PASSED CHEMISTRY! :)
i think eoys is the first chemistry test that I passed. :D
You have really no idea how hard I studied for chemistry. (as compared to other subjects. haha.)
We had a really long break after chemistry where we slacked in class and stoned in front of the class computer, waiting for chinese lessons to start.
Chinese was also damn slack coz the teacher only went through the tons of chinese homework and projects that we have to complete during the holidays and hand up on the first day of school.
HOMEWORK's really relentless!
Holiday homework's already dished out even before holiday starts. yeah great. at least we won't have to worry about not having anything to do during the holidays. yep thanks.
but our chinese teacher's really nice and i hope she will teach us again next year! :D
Kimberly and bernice had SF after school so I went to parkway macs with yitong, jordana, christal, natalie and lihui for lunch.
Just walking, or rather limping out of the school at snail's pace was tiring and we took 15 mins! to reach the bus stop.
Getting from the parkway bus stop to Macs was another long and tiring limp.
At Macs, christal ordered the new wasabi meal and made friends with a little boy at a neighbouring table. (all of us thought that he had a crush on her. :D oops someone got competitor)
Yitong insisted that we take a cab back home so i had to hobble to the taxi stand. Crossing the road at parkway was super hilarious coz i took 20s to cross half the road and was stuck in the middle of the road when the traffic light turned green. It took 2 traffic lights for me to cross the road. walking speed was about: 2.5m/s. -.-
stoned at my house playground analyzing our class with yitong for awhile before I headed home to leave the house 15 minutes later for music lessons.
It was a long long walk to the MRT which is normally a 5 min walk from my house. Usually an effortless walk, I was drenched in sweat upon reaching the freaking MRT which seemed so far away!
Walking through the long long long long long walkway at kembangan to reach the CC was just as bad which made us late for lessons.
After lessons, I decided to go for karate. And again, an exhausting long walk back to the MRT station and from the bus stop to the CC.
Stoned there for an hour with an injuried friend who was OFA too. :D
On the way back, we missed a bus coz i was limping at 2.5m/s towards the bus when the bus driver just drove off when we were like 1 m away from the bus!!!
UNBELIEVABLY SPASTIC!
looking for someone who wants to go for a karate fighting competition with me, held at Jurong Indoor Stadium, $10 for tickets under 16years, 25 Oct, 2-9 but can leave halfway.

Thursday 9 October 2008 - Sprained ankle :

Wohoo! Using iPhone to blog now! :D super cool!
Haven't been updatin for a long long time yep been bbbbbbbuuuusssssyyyy after exams!
Just had invigorate on Mon and tues in which my class won 3rd! ( out of 4 classes) hehe.
Kim sprained her ankle on sun so she couldn't play floorball on Mon an we lost all matches.
Oh well, partly also coz we only had one floorball player. But hui Ying was super pro at blocking the shots. :D
We had captains ball after that which didn't turn out that bad coz we won 2 matches out of 3 but Jordana sprained her ankle. :(
Poor Bernice also had a mild sprain which made our rock climbing captain a little angry. Haha!
Pretty shagged after school ended on Mon and still had to go for training. Managed to convince the rock climbers to play Bball in replacement of running. :D
Bball girls matches were scheduled for tues where we won 2 out of 3 matches! :) sadly we lost to 11 in the first match but we had the help of a grand senior who was also from Dhs Bball team last time :D
Bball was pretty fun though I had a slight strain when I fell.
Mixed captain ball scheduled after Bball was fun too! But the guys liked to throw the ball halfway across the court. Zzz. We won 2 out of 3 matches too! :)
Accidentally fell during the 2nd match and sprained my ankle :(
Super suay! :X I was carried onto a wheelchair and mr Keith sent me, kim and Neha who accompanied me to a clinic near tjc. Mr Keith drove to several clinics which were closed for lunch hour before we finally found one that was open.
Hopping on one foot from the carpark to the clinic was exhausting!
The doctor wrapped up the foot in bandage and gave me painkillers which I haven't eaten. :P
Mr Keith sent me home from the clinic and kim and neha helped me up the stairs :) thanks! :D
Having a sprained ankle is really inconvenient! Especially bathing and moving around the house!
I feel like a freaking rabbit!
Had mc the next day coz I wouldn't be able to walk to school even if I wanted to...
Visit the Chinese sinseh who helped to massage, rub and " exercise" the ankle. Wasn't as painful as I thought it would be and had a new bandage. Was given another mc for today so didn't go to school! Haha!
Sadly rock climbing, Bball and karate are out of the question for the next week :(
There were really a lot of injuries during invigorate which include 4 sprained ankles?lols. They should really get a doc on site for invigorate next year :P
Typing on the iPhone is really annoying so I shall stop blogging here! :D
