Monday
Celebrated B'dae with rock-climbers during training.
Ran 6km since a long long time >.< haha.
Went for bball chalet after that :D Super fun, playing water bombs.
Then went to tai pan for dinner! :)
Tuesday
Chinese project. I'm broke >.< 40 bucks on stickers.
Celebrated b'dae with parents, swensens cake.
Wednesday
Went out to watch Beverly Hills Chiwawa. Celebrated mine and andre's b'dae together at cafe cartel, with carrots and brinjal. :D

Thursday
Played pickle ball in the morning then went for rock training.
Friday
Chinese project in the morning. Celebrated sensei's b'dae at night :P
Saturday
Chinese project in the morning. Went for play with kim and lihui in the afternoon. :D Thanks to everyone who wished me happy b'dae!! and all the lovely presents :D!!!

I'm finally back from new zealand and this post is lag by 2 days. oh well.
Jet lag and laziness have contributed much to the reason why this post has been so lag.
and the above two factors will also explain why this post is going to be short.
more details on the so-called "holiday" to south new zealand will be posted in the near future (oh-not-so-distant-future hopefully)
quick summary first.
The scenery's breathtaking with all its clear blue lakes and snow-topped mountains, beautiful glaciers.
The population of sheeps and cows there probably outnumbers that of new zealanders but it also provides a very exclusive feeling, being the only car travelling on the road at times.
The countryside has a super different feel from the concrete jungle in Singapore. So much more relaxed.
The small towns there aren't that bad with supermarkets and stuff, though the buildings there are usually no higher than 3 storeys.
However, one super super unattractive fact about New Zealand is that I can't get used to their food there.
Every single meal is fried food, fish and chips or chicken tenders (which they give you 2 pieces of fish or chicken and the rest of the plate, filled with fries), or burgers.
Couldn't stand potatoes and bread much longer so we hunted down chinese or rather thai restaurants where we ate half the time.
Also, their food was super expensive. A plate of fish and chips cost an average of 14-18 singapore dollars and in chinese/thai restaurants, a bowl of rice cost 2-3 singapore dollars!
I'm never stepping in a fast food restaurant for at least a month.
And at Queenstown, I went bungy jumping! wahooo!
It was scarily fun, free falling down the mountain for 47 metres but somehow or rather, by some miracle I didn't back out in the middle of the jump and managed to complete it, together with a certificate and photos (hopefully i will upload in the next post).
Also did the Shotover Jet which was not that scary but really fun too!
Initially wanted to try skydiving (one-in-a-lifetime experience) or paragliding but there wasn't enough time to do all that. There was also rock-climbing, abseiling and loads of other fun stuff but again shortage of time.
Did a 4 hour glacier walk, walking, or rather climbing, all the way up the mountain up to the glaciers which was damn tiring. Had to lug a whole backpack of raincoats and crampons up the mountain too and hiking with boots that weighed a possible estimate of 1kg, it was a wonder that i actually made it up the mountain and back down intact.
the glaciers were beautiful and walking on ice was super cool!
oops i guess the "short" post has grown to be a tiny-itty bit longer than i expected.
and there were not surprisingly really funny moments with my parents too.
details shall be further elaborated on future posts.
And I got into OGL. wahoo! that was unexpected.
holidays are turning BORING! >.<
the dreaded holiday homework deadlines are closing in. and I haven't started. :X

Quick updates on holidays. or the one slow week that has passed.
Have been going out everyday with various ppl,
Mon
Briefly visited school in the morning to meet up with mr josef tan for geog research module, then went to suntec to meet kim and then sammy.
Dhs bball ppl had a bball match at united world college where i intended to watch ONLY.
haha. but ended up playing :D was super fun. sadly we got trashed and was even offered the mercy rule. :X
Tues
Celebrated lihui's birthday a day in advance coz kim was flying the following day.
Ate at cafe cartel then went to my house to watch cheaper by the dozen 1 and 2 and played board games. relieved childhood memories when we were still carefree innocent young pumpkins :P
Wed
Went out with karis, eunice tan and yi jing.
We were supposed to go to escape theme park for a self-scaring session with the screaming machines that we pay to turn us upside down, inside out.
However, most unfortunately, it was closed for god knows what reason, on a school holiday?!
And we ended up throwing our money down the drain/gutter instead at the bowling alley.
Then i had to go babysit my sister and her friends at bugis while the inexperience entrepreneurs were buying stuff for their bazzar.
Thurs
Can't recall what i did in the afternoon but visited the chinese physician in the evening and ended up with a bandaged ankle. AGAIN.
Fri
Stoned at home for most part of the morning, visited queensway in the afternoon, bought two pairs of new shoes. went out at night to Botak Jones to eat and played pool.
First attempt at pool, not bad for a beginner, shot 8 balls into the holes, 4 of which was white. :X
Considering job at Botak Jones.
Sat
Attempting to pack for new zealand.
Finished 4 books in the course of this week, 4 books closer to my target of reading all the books in pasir ris library.
Shld be posting when i'm back from new zealand. and try not to miss me :D
